I have never been there in my life, but will be hitting the place hard in June I reckon. For this my friends is where my Stag weekend will be.

It was a toss up between Dublin and Edinburgh, and as the latter was cheaper to get to, and costs less for beer, it won! I should be saved from most embarrasing actions, as my best man is a copper. Going by plane, so we should be there in no time as well. Sweet.

I found out today that I was successful in my interview at work. In fact, both of us that applied were offered positions as we showed excellent, albeit different, qualities. I am now gonna be their Resolutions Specialist. Should be fun.

Yippee. I’m glad I never bought some at full price now! Get it while its hot folks. Although if you miss this offer, I am sure they will have another in a week or two! I bought two tubs to be on the safe side!

Dunno why, but I had a craving for some lightning seeds music the other day. Could I find the CD? Nope. So a few minutes later I acquired the tunes, and am now happily listening to them again.

Like You Do - The Very Best of the Lightning Seeds, has to be one of the very few albums I have where each song is as good as the next. I could happily listen to the whole album without flicking a track.

Now I know Hayley at work will be going to see it soon, but I watched Semi Pro tonight at the flicks. And on the subject of the flicks, don’t go to the Empire cinema in Rubery, it is a scummy as fuck! The seats had no fabric on them anymore, they just had bare foam, and those were the seats WITHOUT the white “out of order” blankets over them! On a good note, there were only a few of us in there, everyone else must have been recently, and made a promise to themselves not to go again!

Oh, and Hollywood Bowl took half an hour to cook two burgers and some chips! When I went to the counter to ask what the delay was, the girl magically conjured up two burgers! Hmmmm. We only ate there as the Italian and Mexican were fully booked. Quick bite to eat we thought. My arse.

My best man has decided that Dublin would be a good place to visit for my stag do this year. I’m pretty happy with that, I’ve never been before and people tend to rave about the place.

I always think of Dublin as an old persons place to be, with dark pubs selling Guinness, and where there is nightlife, it is normally broken up with some psycho policeman weilding a baton on top of an armoured Landrover! I’m sure I am mistaken though, and will do some Googling when I shouldn’t be asleep.

One of my fears in life is being sick. I hate it. This is why I now hate getting completely twat faced, as normally the room starts spinning and I end up chundering! With this stag do there could be up to 24 people going , so one free drink from each of them and I’ll be bolloxed! Hopefully they will all be either skint or selfish, and I will be responsible for my own drinks!

Luckily, I have been promised that I wont be shaved or tied to a lampost, which is good really. My nakedness would be enough to shock the Irish thats for sure!

I have started the switch to Wordpress, which is a bit of a change for me after years of using PMachine and Expression Engine. I hope to have the site looking as I would like in a week or so. It also means I can have a nice up to date links page.

And who knows, maybe I’ll even keep this one updated!

This poor old site is certainly neglected isnt it! I think I might redesign it, as JPA correctly pointed out, this one never actually got finished anyway.

Something to think about I guess. Problem with redesigning is finding the time, as I have now rejoined the gym again! This’ll be the 4th or 5th time I have joined. Hehehe.

I’ll go and have a play with some redesigns and I will post again later. So, see you in a month or so…..

I’m getting better, yay!

I started getting ill at Christmas, and it finally got me on Boxing day. Spent the next few days in bed, hot and cold, coughing, choking, snotting and generally feeling like crap. I started to get better, and then got ill again on New Years Eve. Just about better, but now have conjunctivitis, or Pink Eye as I like to call it.

Hopefully, when I remember to take my drops it will clear up and all will be good again. I have bought some vitamin tablets to help me stay healthy, as in fairness, I eat crap and don’t work out! Which will have to change in the better weather. Maybe I should get a new push bike and use that to get healthy?

Well, I am currently on my break at work, will finish at half 5. I hope all my friends that seem to finish at 1pm (those that actually had to go to work) stay a little sober, and aren’t too harsh when making me “Catchup” later tonight.

I wonder what the new year will bring for cheekylemon? Hopefully some nice weather so he can ride his bike!

Spammers piss me off. I get shit loads of crap that I dont need land in my inbox. And then, the bastards spam my websites as well. Seems captcha codes don’t stop the real hardcore ones. Thats why both my sites have now been configured to moderate comments. That way, if they are still stupid enough to post crap on my comments page, I can just simply delete them all with one click. Nice.

End of rant. And would you know it, this is the first update in ages! I would promise to update more, but we all know I am not very good at keeping that promise! I will try though.
